How to Hide Inside Eggs and Steal Them
Hiding and carrying serve different parts of the same run. Read the interaction label before holding the prompt, especially when several actions appear beside one egg.
§Hide Inside and Steal are separate prompts#
The reviewed recording shows both Hide Inside and Steal beside an egg. The official description explains why hiding exists: you can use an egg to sneak into other players’ plots.
Decide your goal before interacting. If you need cover for approaching a plot, inspect Hide Inside. If you are ready to return with an egg, inspect Steal and the target’s displayed requirements. Hiding alone does not establish that an egg belongs to your farm.
§What to check while inside an egg#
While the player is inside an egg, the recording displays Leave Egg and Lock Egg at the bottom of the screen. The visible message says “You’re an egg! Hop around and act natural” and includes a timer. Follow the current server’s message and watch that timer.
Use Leave Egg when you want to return to your character’s normal movement and reassess the area. If you try Lock Egg, read the confirmation and recheck the state before relying on it. The reviewed frames show the button, but do not establish its duration, price or every interaction with other players.
§When a target says it is locked#
A reviewed frame shows “This egg is locked!” above a target while Hide Inside and Steal prompts are nearby. The visible label can remain present even when the action is restricted.
Do not spend time repeatedly holding the same prompt. Check the status text, move to another available target, and return later if the restriction changes. No verified bypass or universal unlock timer is documented here.
§Finish the trip after stealing#
Strength determines access to heavier eggs according to the developer. Check that constraint before committing to a target on a distant plot.
After taking an available egg, return to your own farm and confirm its placement. A hiding state, a successful pickup, and a completed return are separate checkpoints. Use the farm result to judge whether the run succeeded.
